Would it just be a preference that's not really entwined with MBTI or are there certain types that gravitate towards this humor and certain types that would more commonly not enjoy it? LotsOfHeart New member. I have an ENFJ friend who likes this show quite a bit. But all types enjoy it I'm sure. What I say is just my experience.

I think it's funny, but I won't go out of my way to watch it either. Time is too scarce to be sitting around watching a TV show if you don't really, really like it, I say.

Decon New member. From what I've seen of it, I think it's funny. But it's not like I watch the latest episode. Usually I'll watch it when my mom rents the season.

I love it! I do think the show is at its best, though, when slightly more subtly showing us the humor to be found in mundane office life. For example, there was a cold open last season where everyone is in a meeting, and rather than focusing on Michael who, for once, thinks he has an audience in the palm of his hand and runs away with it , they're all looking past him to the DVD screen to see whether the bouncing DVD icon ever goes directly into the corner of the screen.

If your not laughing because the disgusting and offensive things that Michael says, are funny.

Oh, you poor dear. The actual story starts at The Dundies. Gave you emotional tension. Not over the top at all. And for Michael, your cheering for him to not be lonely anymore like he is in seasons That is just a trash opinion. It is the greatest comedy made ever. The show was funny because it was obviously offensive and uncomfortable in the situation is that Michael created.

You used poor examples and seems like you watched season 1- half of season 2. All these years and I have never watched it…I might have to go watch it now…Thanks! I was wondering if it was as funny as the memes…. You answered my question.. The joke is on him. There is straight up hilarity in many of the episodes that works really well.

This show in its entirety made me cringe constantly. The only thing that was funny on that episode was watching Stanley react, giddy about this douche finally getting payback after all of his racist homophobic creeper vibes. Just referencing it as the worst show of any ever without any empirical or any type of evidence is just… blech. I feel really bad for people who live there lives being so offended over things like a comedy show. Its called comedy for a reason. I have tried several times to like the office but I always turn it off.

The Office is reactionary comedy for far right sociopaths. Watch Parks and Rec instead.
